Real Estate and Commercial Transactions are growing areas of practice for the firm. We handle numerous Real Estate closings ranging from simple housing closings to complex commercial matters involving large buildings or large tracts of real estate. We are experienced in arranging tax exempt property exchanges, secure business loans and other secure transactions for our commercial clients. We also represent clients involved in the establishment, sale, or purchase of businesses, including professional practices.

Our emphasis in real estate and commercial transactions is to counsel the client before they make a decision or engage in a transaction and to analyze and discuss fully their business options. This allows us to advise the client of ways to avoid costly or time consuming problems before they arise.

Steven P. Rouse, member, has handled complex insolvency matters for a variety of financial institutions. He has been involved in all types of large commercial collection matters involving a wide variety of collateral. He represents creditors in the areas of Real Estate and Commercial transactions. He has handled franchising for a fast food restaurant chain in the Chicago area as well as complex commercial transactions for a Fortune 500 bank. Mr. Rouse has also represented many clients in the purchase and sale of professional practices as well as the purchase and sale of commercial property and personal residences.
